WESAFRI (we-suh-free)
The syllables of WESAFRI come from my surname, Safriwe, a name in which only my family bears. WESAFRI encapsulates our belief in liberation – the freedom to express ourselves through fiber arts and style, while divesting from the constraints of fast fashion's detrimental impact. We're weaving a story of sustainability, where eco-conscious materials and ethical production practices intertwine seamlessly with the beauty of crochet. Join us on this creative journey as we stitch together a more sustainable and compassionate future.
Each piece is carefully handcrafted with recycled material, echoing the time-honored techniques passed down through generations. My great-grandmother taught me to crochet when I was just 4 years old, and I adore carrying on her legacy. Now I make as a creative meditation and a way to bring my inner child to light. Just like the crochet lessons from my great-grandmother, every creation is a testament to the value of patience, skill, and care. Thank you for being a part of our story.
